About Burnett

The Burnett, a beautiful and dynamic state electorate in Queensland, covers an area of around 7,506 square kilometres and takes in approximately three local government areas-Isis, Burnett and Miriam Vale. The electorate has a population of more than 41,000.

The Burnett is a perfect patch of Queensland coastline and hinterland which stretches from Woodgate and the Burrum River in the south to Turkey Beach in the north and makes the claim of being the birthplace of Queensland.
